As well as painting furniture for clients, I love nothing more than to help solve any in-home colour queries, recently working for Hardwick Kitchens as a freelance colour consultant.

When deciding on colours in your home it's important to consider many things. Whether you want a room to feel cosy and calm or to lift your spirits, choosing the right combination can transform the way you feel and turn a house into a home.

During my visit I bring along a number of painted paper samples and together we will look at colour combinations. To understand where these can be best applied. I take into consideration any lighting, furniture or furnishings that will remain in the room as well as the style of property, remaining sympathetic to its surroundings.
